Morning Procedures:

1. As soon as you come in put your things away.
2. Turn in your daily folder.
3. Look at the board for morning work directions.
4. Complete and turn in morning work.
5. Listen to the daily announcements.
6. When sharing about your day/weekend always raise your hand to answer and listen when someone else is talking.


What to do at Reading Circle:


1. Always walk to the reading carpet quietly.

2. Sit by your partner so they are close by when we get to pair share.

3. Keep your ears open and listen for directions.

4. Keep your hands to yourself.

5. Always raise your hand to answer a question.

6. Stay on task

What to do with homework:

1. Keep all homework in your blue folders and put them in the blue bucket that will be at the front of the classroom.
2. We will go over all homework after morning work.
3. All homework will be taken as a participation grade, meaning if they try and complete all their homework they will get credit for it.

How to act during Group Work:

1. Always be helpful.
2. Always treat the person the way you would want to be treated.
3. Always give one hundred percent to the assignment!
4. A group will always consist of four students or less.

What to do during Independent reading/study:

1. NO fake reading!
2. Work on assignments diligently.
3. If you need help, ASK for it.
4. When you complete an assignment you are free to read.
5. Always make sure you choose a just right book!
